Sonesta Expands its Footprint in Egypt with the Introduction of Sonesta Nouba Hotel Aswan

Newton, MA (April 3, 2023) – Sonesta International Hotels Corporation (Sonesta) today announced Sonesta International Hotels Corporation (Sonesta) today announced the opening of the Sonesta Nouba Hotel Aswan, the brand’s newest hotel and its third location in Egypt. Located in Aswan, the 45-room hotel offers guests a place for relaxation, premier dining, luxe amenities and an authentic experience near popular attractions including the Temple of Philae, Elephantine Island and Aswan Botanical Garden.

Overlooking the Nile River, the Sonesta Nouba Hotel Aswan offers guests a luxurious experience, with each guest room featuring a private terrace and sweeping majestic river views. There is a climate-controlled pond along the hotel’s promenade, inhabited by crocodiles maintained by local Nubians, who preserve this centuries old aspect of their culture. All guests have access to 24-hour room service and concierge services, free high-speed internet, an on-call doctor, meeting and social event facilities, a swimming pool, a gym and a steam room.
