In celebration of National Pet Month in May, Sonesta is making it easier to travel with your pet with the debut of a new pet-friendly program, PAWS “Pets Are Welcome at Sonesta”, available at nearly 300 hotels nationwide. With the summer travel season around the corner, the PAWS program offers amenities to pamper every pet – welcoming all well-mannered pets, with no breed or weight restrictions, and up to two pets permitted per room or suite.

WHAT IS THE PAWS PROGRAM?

The PAWS program provides guests traveling with their furry companion with following:

Welcome letter that includes a list of local area dog parks, pet hospitals and pet stores
Complimentary dog treats at check-in
Water dish
Feeding bowl
Waterproof feeding mat
Cozy pet bed (at full-service properties)
Door hanger or magnet to identify a pet inside the guest room

In addition, Sonesta has created a pet-friendly marketplace at many of the hotels that offers PAWS branded items such as leashes, bandanas, tennis balls, and pet waste bags available for purchase.

The new PAWS pet-friendly program is available across Sonesta’s U.S. portfolio of five brands. The minimum fee is $75 per stay at Royal Sonesta, Sonesta Hotels & Resorts, Sonesta Select, or a minimum of $75 for stays up to seven nights, and $25 per week thereafter applies at Sonesta ES Suites and Sonesta Simply Suites.
