Sonesta Expands Newest Hotel Brand with First Location in Iowa
NEWTON, MA, [April 25, 2024] – Sonesta International Hotels Corporation (Sonesta) today announced the opening of Sonesta Essential Des Moines. The 150-room, upper-midscale property is located at 4755 Merle Hay Road in Des Moines, IA. The hotel is near the Iowa State Capitol, Des Moines International Airport, Drake University and Iowa State Fairgrounds, providing easy access to hiking and biking trails and the famed Downtown Farmer’s Market.
