Second Sonesta Essential Brand Property Opens Outside Indianapolis

NEWTON, MA [September 7, 2023] – Sonesta International Hotels Corporation (Sonesta) today announced today the grand opening of Sonesta Essential Plainfield, a 67-room, upper-midscale hotel in Greater Indianapolis, conveniently located near the Indianapolis Speedway, Lucas Oil Stadium, Bankers Life Fieldhouse and Victory Field.

Sonesta Essential, introduced earlier this year, provides guests with all of the essentials for their stay.  Available to franchise in the U.S., the brand offers easier new builds and conversions with modest brand standards, limited food and beverage requirements and simplified conversion processes.  Sonesta Essential features elevated bedding as part of the brand’s unique sleep program, high-speed complimentary WiFi, complimentary hot breakfast, premium all-day coffee and a fitness center.
