Newton, MA (June 1, 2023) – Sonesta International Hotels Corporation (Sonesta) announced today the grand opening of the Nautilus Sonesta Miami Beach in Miami, FL, a 250-key upscale hotel located on Collins Avenue. The Nautilus Sonesta Miami Beach has beachfront access and is in close proximity to South Beach’s most popular attractions including Lincoln Road Mall, the Miami Beach Convention Center, art deco Ocean Drive and The Bass contemporary art museum. The Nautilus Sonesta Miami Beach is Sonesta’s fifth property in Miami and the 43rd Sonesta Hotel & Resort location worldwide.

Nautilus Sonesta Miami Beach is located at 1825 Collins Avenue and features four food and beverage outlets, 17,500 sq ft of indoor and outdoor event space, a world-class fitness center, a gift shop and a saltwater pool.

The hotel, which will be managed by Sonesta, is expected to undergo an extensive renovation and by 2025 will be transformed into The James Miami Beach. The James is a high-end lifestyle brand, reintroduced by Sonesta earlier this year, offering a sophisticated urban retreat that appeals to a broad, affluent and multigenerational audience.
